  1. If we don’t love each other well, we will never love the world well and witness to Jesus well.

  2. These qualities are a good description of what it means to live in a family. Heathy families exhibit these qualities.

    1. Two important observations:

      1. Agitating each other will happen!

      2. We need to examine our hearts and be careful to:

        1. Be humble — remember our place

        2. Be gentle — not be self-impressed

        3. Be patient — being able to bear up under provocation, patient

        4. Bearing with one another in love

  3. This is why we are “Kingdom-minded” and not exclusive. We want to see other Christians as brothers and sisters, not as competitors for our church.

    1. We’ve used the phrase often in the EFCA recently — “Bride over Brand”
