Glenn Olson has lived and ministered in Hastings for 25 years.  He is married to Anne and they have raised 6 kids during that time.

In addition to the priority of being a dad… he has a passion for prayer and outreach as a youth pastor.  These have been expressed through 20 years of leading the prayer effort at District Blitz student conference and 14 years of being the director of prayer for the EFCA Challenge conference.

Outreach has been expressed through starting a ministry called the Youth Workers Closet.  In the past 8 years he has done 175 outreaches helping churches across the state.  These outreaches include bring large inflatable games, carnival food and equipment for a concert.

Glenn’s full time job is Director of Student ministries for the North Central District of the EFCA.  In this position he gives leadership, mentoring and training to churches in Minnesota.

At New Life he volunteers his time with both running the youth group and leading the praise band (and preaching once in a while).  He also loves leading nights of prayer for the church family.

What do you do in your free time?

Mechanic work on my vehicles, 4 wheeling, Biking and doing fun things with my wife and or family.

What brings you the greatest Joy?

I love being a part of helping people grow and develop whether it is my family, church Family, or youth pastors.
